                 The Vineyard Church of Campbell County exists to create a                  place to belong; to be equipped for loving and obedient                  friendship with God; so we can whole-heartedly follow Jesus as                  He builds His church.

 

The Vineyard Church of Campbell County, a place to belong.

 

 

 

How is the Vineyard going to do this?

Worship—learning to offer all of our lives to God

Equipping—for life and service

Ministry—to God, each other and the poor

Expansion—following Jesus into the harvest fields

 

                

                                 

                 The church belongs to God.

                                                                      Jesus is the sole proprietor.

                                                                      The church is administrated by the Holy Spirit.

                                                                      The church is people; not a place, a personality or a philosophy.

 

 

Relationships are primary.  They are not a means to an end.  Therefore we strive to love God with our whole heart and one another as ourselves.

 

Individuals have value.  No matter who they are, or where they are emotionally, spiritually, relationally, politically, sexually, socially, financially, WHATEVER—ally.  We are all created in God’s image and are deeply loved by Him, and therefore by His church.

 

We will express God’s mercy and healing. This is what we have received from God so it is what we have to offer to others.  This healing will be expressed in every aspect of our lives and environment.

 

The bible is our guide.  It tells us all we need to know for a faith and practice that will please God and cause our lives to flow in harmony with Him.

 

We are flexible, continual learners. We will continue to integrate learning from the bible, as well as textual, physical and social sciences with our experience as we walk with God.  This promotes understanding for each other and helps us accept the process of our journey through life together.
